Description
Mental Health Specialists to work on a COVID sub unit.
Patients are asymptomatic or very mild symptoms. Patients will be transferred off the unit if symptoms worsen.
Experience can be acute care, inpatient psych or residential type facility.
Participate in take interviews and admissions
Meets with patients as assigned by the RN to provide therapeutic and supportive counselling.
Enters observations in chart and reports patient's condition to RN & team.
Participates in multi-disciplinary treatment team meeting.
May function as crisis counsellor.
Assist pts to meet basic ADL
