Pharmacy Technician I Materials Coordinator

Position Summary: 
SAFETY SENSITIVE
SHIFT: Monday – Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM
Voluntary OT on Sundays optional: can be discussed upon orientation
Nevada does not require a tech license for the inventory role.
REQUIRED: comfortable operating a Pallet Jack (will train on site)

This position is responsible for the tasks associated with the management of inventory at the assigned facility. Specific tasks would include but are not limited to purchasing and receiving of inventory, tracking and reconciliation of inventory balances, and selection of product and supplies under the direction of the supervisor.
Responsible for receiving inventory, tracking and reconciliation of inventory balances.
Responsible for the selection of product and supplies under the direction of the supervisor.
Manage return goods according to standard operating procedures
Monitor product trends and shortages to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained
Ensure pharmacy pick and pack stations are properly stocked with medication and supplies.
Assist in maintaining dispensing and back stock refrigerators and freezers in a well-organized manner
Responsible for filing inventory and SOX documentation.
Work with Inventory CDR to assist in cycle counting functions
Monitor and pull short dated or expired product from active inventory
Maintain the Pharmacy in a clean, orderly, and professional manner

Physical Demands:
This position is physically demanding requiring an individual to lift up to 40-50 pounds (team lifting OK). Must be able to stand, walk and lift for several hours at a time. This position could be physically demanding.

Work Environment
Warehouse may be licensed in some states by the State Board of Pharmacy and therefore have security/pharmacy restrictions. May be exposed to hazardous materials through the packing and shipping processes.

Minimum (1) year experience required in a customer service position with high volume call center experience; preferably in healthcare, social services, or a similar service position.
Preferred Qualifications:
One year professional work experience preferred in a warehouse, purchasing and/or inventory environment.
Six months computer experience in a Windows based system
