Description-

As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office/hospital. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

Observe and record patients conditions, food and liquid intake and other behaviour, and report changes to supervisor

Help patients walk with canes, walkers, or other devices

Make beds, and maintain clean and safe environments for patients

Lift, transport, and move patients using the appropriate techniques

Organize and schedule appointments

Update and file medical records and insurance reports

Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services

Check with patients and type up patients charts

Assist during medical examinations

Experience Required: at least 1 year of recent MA experience    

Experience Preferred: 2+ years of MA experience        

(Basic Life Saving) certification

Valid Certification or Registration for MA/Diploma
