Requirements:
1.5 years recent Level I or II ED experience and/or 2+ years of recent Level III/IV ED experience.
Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks.
Preferred Exp: EPIC, Previous Travel, Critical Care experience.
The department consists of 70 treatment areas serving 350-440 patients per day.
Required Certifications: TNCC, BLS, ACLS.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Being ready to respond and equipped to deal with a medical emergency.
Quickly assessing patient needs.
Treating critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma.
Performing minor medical operations.
Cleaning wounds.
Drawing blood.
Maintaining emergency room care standards.
Assisting with insurance paperwork.
Ensuring the efficiency of the patient check-in process.
Displaying strong decision-making skills in emergency scenarios.
Certification: Basic Life Support , Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
